Loft conversion to bungalow
Planning permission for this loft conversion to bungalow renovation with a roof was approved in 2019. Lacaze Architecture provided architectural services to design a two-storey extension over the existing bungalow, turning it into a luxury home with fantastic views towards Perranporth beach.
Set in a fantastic Cornish location, the original bungalow was in need of significant renovation. The client required additional living space and bedrooms which the current layout did not allow. Extending above the existing bungalow to create further bedrooms at first floor allowed us to convert the ground floor layout into an open plan kitchen, living, dining room area improving the usability of the property and increasing its property value.
Externally, we modernised the loft conversion to bungalow by using a mixture of materials such a cedral cladding, timber cladding and render.
