Garden annexe
Planning permission for this garden annexe was granted in 2023 and the detailed building control drawings have been approved. Construction due to start in 2024.
Lacaze Architecture undertook the design process, including
architectural drawings for planning permission, and building regulations for
this upcoming garden annexe project due to be constructed in 2024. The project
objective was to create a one-bedroom self-contained granny annexe tailored to
provide luxurious living accommodation for family members.

Abundance of Natural light: Carefully positioned
windows and bi-fold doors are strategically incorporated into the design,
flooding the interior with natural light

Innovative shade solutions: a Cantilevered roof,
couple with brise soleil panels, cleverly shields the granny annexe from excessive
heat during specific times of the day, ensuring optimal comfort for the
occupants.

Modern Exterior: The modern exterior of this
garden annexe, features a striking blend of burnt cedar cladding and antique
oak, which perfectly complements the natural surroundings.
